Camera and lighting rentals in Litchfield Park

Litchfield Park is twenty-five minutes from the counter, just south of Luke Air Force Base, and it shoots like a resort town because it is one. The Wigwam has welcomed guests since Thanksgiving Day 1929, and its lawns, gardens and three golf courses now host weddings, conferences and brand events.

Shooting in Litchfield Park

Resort weddings, park events and Luke's airspace.

Event and wedding kits are the order here: two mirrorless bodies that match, wireless lavs for vows and toasts, small battery-powered lights that do not need a wall, and a gimbal for the walk down the aisle. Luke's airspace rules the sky, so the drone stays home and the long lens comes instead.

01

Weddings and events at The Wigwam

Ceremonies on the lawn, receptions in the Trellis Garden, conferences in the ballrooms. A Sony A7S III and an FX3 for low light, the RODE Wireless GO II on the officiant and the groom, a Zoom H6 on the DJ board, and a PavoTube set to paint the reception. Everything battery-powered, nothing a planner has to hide a cable for.

02

Rose Park and the city calendar

The amphitheater at Rose Park, the fall Festival of Arts in Litchfield Square Park and the Church at Litchfield Park book community films and event coverage that want a gimbal, a wireless mic and a monitor. Small kits, short rentals, often at the weekend rate.

03

Under Luke's airspace

Luke Air Force Base sits just north of town on Litchfield Road and its Class D airspace covers the city, so drone work here is the exception, not the plan. Litchfield Park orders replace the aerial with a long Vespid prime and a slider move, and the shot still says resort.

Good to know

Litchfield Park questions, answered.

Only with an FAA authorization filed well ahead. The Wigwam and most of the city sit inside Luke Air Force Base's Class D airspace, and Luke is not on LAANC, so there is no instant approval: requests go through FAA DroneZone, which the FAA says has historically taken up to eight weeks. The base itself is off-limits. Plan the resort exterior with a long lens and a slider instead, and the wedding film loses nothing.

A wireless lav on the officiant and one on the groom (the RODE Wireless GO II covers both), plus a Zoom H6 taking a feed from the DJ or the band for the toasts. Every one of those records a backup internally, so a dropout never costs the vows. The counter sets the levels with you at pickup.

No. The PavoTube set and the Aputure 300 series run off batteries with the right plate, so the reception lawn gets color and the planner never sees an extension cord. Battery packs and the dual charger come from the same shelf on the same order.
