How a rental day is counted, what the fourth day free means, why insurance is required, how delivery works, and what happens when gear comes back late. If your question is not here, the counter answers the phone.

Renting

How a rental works from the first click to the return scan.

Browse the catalog, pick your pickup and return dates, add gear to the quote and check out online. Availability is live, so anything you can add is on the shelf for those dates. You then sign the rental agreement on your phone, send proof of insurance, and either pick up at the Glendale counter or have the gear delivered.

No. Checkout takes your name, email and phone. After the first rental you can open the customer portal with a sign-in link sent to that email, no password, to see past rentals, extend a rental, pay a balance or rent the same kit again.

Popular items (the FX6, the 1200D Pro, the Vespid set) book out for weekends and for the fall commercial season. A week ahead is comfortable; the day before often works for smaller gear. Live availability shows you exactly what is free for your dates.

The counter is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Weekend rentals pick up Friday and return Monday morning. Delivery windows are agreed when the order is confirmed.

Yes, for pickup at the Glendale counter. Delivery covers the Phoenix Valley. If the gear is flying, ask the counter about flight-legal batteries and cases before you book.

Pricing and discounts

What a day is, what a week costs, and what a weekend really costs.

A rental day is a rolling 24 hours from pickup. Pick up Tuesday at 2pm and the gear is due Wednesday at 2pm. There is a one-hour grace window on returns.

Yes, and they apply automatically at checkout. Rent four or more days and the fourth day is free. Rent a full week and you pay for five days.

Yes. Pick up Friday during counter hours and return Monday morning and you pay the one-day rate. That is the best value on the shelf for a weekend shoot.

Online at checkout, by card through the secure booking system, when you reserve. Your receipt and agreement live in the customer portal.

Delivery is quoted separately once you book, based on where the set is: put the address in your order notes. It covers anywhere in the Phoenix Valley, and pickup at the Glendale counter is always free.

Insurance, agreements and payment

What protects the gear, and what protects you.

Yes. Influence Rentals does not offer insurance, but requires insurance on all equipment rented. Send a certificate of insurance naming Influence Rentals before pickup. If you do not have a policy, ask: the counter has good recommendations, and short-term production policies are common and quick to arrange.

A short agreement covering the gear, the dates, your responsibility for the equipment while it is out, and the return terms. You sign it electronically before pickup, and the signed copy stays in your portal.

Tell the counter as soon as it happens. Every unit is condition-checked with photos at pickup and return, so the record is clear about what changed on your rental. Repair or replacement runs through your insurance, which is the reason it is required.

Yes, so long as it is done seven days in advance, for a full refund. Influence Rentals runs at full capacity, so rentals canceled within seven days are not subject to a refund.

Getting the gear to set and back to the shelf.

7018 N 57th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, the same building as Influence Studios, a few minutes off the Loop 101 near Westgate. Free parking at the door.

Anywhere in the Phoenix Valley, from Buckeye to Apache Junction and Anthem to Casa Grande. The gear arrives prepped and is collected when you wrap. Delivery is quoted separately once you book.

There is a one-hour grace window. After that, late returns are billed at the daily rate, because the next production is usually waiting on the same case. If you know you are running long, extend the rental in the portal before the return time.

Yes, if the gear is not reserved for someone else. Extend from the customer portal or call the counter. Extensions are priced at the original day rates and the multi-day discount still applies.

The studio next door

Rent the gear, book the stage. Same building.

Yes. Influence Studios shares the building: a nearly 10,000 sq ft facility with a 2,000 sq ft cyc wall, a 30 by 10 ft LED volume wall, a podcast suite and standing sets, all bookable by the hour online. Studio rental includes lighting and audio; cameras are an add-on from this shelf.

Yes. Every rental is checked with you at the counter, and the studio floor is right there if you want to see a light or a lens on a real subject before it goes in the car.
