How it works
The whole rental runs on one system: live availability, secure checkout, e-signature, a scan at pickup and a scan at return.
Pick your dates, add gear to the quote and check out online. Availability is live, so what you reserve is what is on the shelf.
Sign the rental agreement electronically and send your certificate of insurance. Both happen from your phone before pickup day.
Collect at the Glendale counter, 7018 N 57th Ave, or have the gear brought to set anywhere in the Phoenix Valley.
Rolling 24-hour rental days: out at 2pm, due back at 2pm, Friday to Monday for one day. Every unit is scanned back in and your receipt closes the rental.
The rules, plainly
Every policy below is built into the checkout, written the way the counter would explain it.
A rental day runs 24 hours from pickup. Out Tuesday at 2pm means back Wednesday at 2pm. Pick up Friday and return Monday morning and you pay for one day.
Rent four days or more and the fourth day is free. Rent a full week and you pay for five days. The discount applies itself at checkout.
Influence Rentals does not sell insurance, but every rental has to be covered. Send a certificate of insurance before pickup. If you do not have a policy, ask: the counter has good recommendations and short-term options are common.
Cancel seven or more days before pickup for a full refund. Inside seven days the reservation is non-refundable, because the shelf runs at full capacity and the gear was held for you.

How we work
The gear is inspected and tracked, the advice comes from working crews, and the studio and the production team share the roof. Three habits that make the counter worth the drive.
Every unit is inspected at check-in and check-out, tracked by its own tag, and pulled from the shelf the moment something is off. You never inherit the last renter's problem.
The counter is staffed by working cinematographers and producers. Ask which light, which lens, which battery plate, and you get an answer from someone who shot with it last week.
A student short and a national commercial go through the same checkout, sign the same agreement and get the same prepped gear. The scale changes; the standard does not.

The counter shares a nearly 10,000 sq ft building with Influence Studios: a 2,000 sq ft cyc wall, a 30 by 10 ft LED volume wall, a podcast suite and 16 standing sets across 9 studios, bookable by the hour from $49/hr. Studio time includes lighting and audio; cameras come from this shelf.
