Camera and lighting rentals for Phoenix productions

In Phoenix, music videos load into the Warehouse District's brick docks before sunrise, brand films book the Roosevelt Row murals, and corporate crews work the Camelback Corridor towers from a hotel loading dock. The counter in Glendale is twenty minutes up Grand Avenue or I-17 from Central and Washington, and the delivery van can meet the crew at any of those docks.

Shooting in Phoenix

Downtown docks, corridor towers and game nights.

What Phoenix shoots pull most is the full cinema kit: an FX6 or RED with the DZOFilm Vespid primes, a 1200D Pro to hold a face against downtown glass at noon, and a gimbal for the walk-and-talk through a Melrose District storefront. Reserve it online, and it meets you at the location or waits at the counter.

01

Downtown load-ins before the city wakes

Roosevelt Row and the Warehouse District shoot best at dawn, before foot traffic and heat. A delivery window set around the dawn call means the gear is cased, batteried and waiting when the crew arrives, and the van collects it after wrap so nobody drives to Glendale at midnight.

02

Corporate work along the Camelback Corridor

Interview and brand-story shoots in the towers between 24th Street and 44th Street run on a two-light kit, a wireless lav and a monitor the client can watch. Everything fits one cart through a lobby security desk, which matters more than the spec sheet does.

03

Game night and arena content

Chase Field, Mortgage Matchup Center and the Arizona Biltmore host the sponsor activations and hospitality shoots that need fast glass, wireless video and comms for a crew spread across a concourse. The six-headset system rents by the day like everything else.

The Phoenix commercial kit

Sony FX6 with the Vespid 25, 35 and 50mm primes, an Aputure LS 1200D Pro through a 12x12 frame for exteriors, a 600D and a Nova P300C for interiors, a DJI RS 3 Pro for movement, DJI Transmission so the agency watches from the shade, and enough 98Wh V-mount packs to run the day off battery in a location with no power. Add the six-headset Hollyland comms when the crew spreads out.

The counter shares a nearly 10,000 sq ft building with Influence Studios: a 2,000 sq ft cyc wall, a 30 by 10 ft LED volume wall, a podcast suite and 16 standing sets across 9 studios, bookable by the hour from $49/hr. Studio time includes lighting and audio; cameras come from this shelf.

Good to know

Phoenix questions, answered.

Yes. Most Roosevelt Row and Grand Avenue locations are curbside unloads, metered on Roosevelt Row, so the driver calls ahead, unloads cased gear to your crew and clears the space. Tell the counter the address and the call time when you reserve and the delivery window is built around it.

Commercial work on a Phoenix sidewalk, street, park or city building needs a City of Phoenix Film and Digital Media Permit. Downtown B-roll is the exception: five people or fewer, on sticks or handheld, not blocking the sidewalk or a lane, usually needs none. The gear is the same either way; the permit is the renter's responsibility, and the Film Office quotes one to four weeks, so start it before the shoot week, not the day before.

Live availability shows what is free for your dates the moment you look. Smaller kits often book the day before; the FX6, the Vespid set and the 1200D Pro are the pieces to lock a week out. Pickup at the Glendale counter is twenty minutes from downtown if a delivery window will not work.

Reserve tonight for a downtown Phoenix call time.
