How it works

Four steps from the shelf to set.

One system runs the whole rental: live availability, secure checkout, an agreement you sign on your phone, a scan at pickup and a scan at return. Here is the whole process, and every rule the checkout uses, in plain words.

How it works

Reserve online. Pick up or get it delivered. Shoot.

The whole rental runs on one system: live availability, secure checkout, e-signature, a scan at pickup and a scan at return.

01Online, any hour

Browse and reserve

Pick your dates, add gear to the quote and check out online. Availability is live, so what you reserve is what is on the shelf.

02Before pickup

Sign and insure

Sign the rental agreement electronically and send your certificate of insurance. Both happen from your phone before pickup day.

03Pickup day

Pick up or get delivery

Collect at the Glendale counter, 7018 N 57th Ave, or have the gear brought to set anywhere in the Phoenix Valley.

04On set and after

Shoot, then return

Rolling 24-hour rental days: out at 2pm, due back at 2pm, Friday to Monday for one day. Every unit is scanned back in and your receipt closes the rental.

Delivery and pickup

Glendale counter. Valley-wide delivery.

Pick up at 7018 N 57th Ave in Glendale, a few minutes from the Loop 101 and Westgate, or have the gear brought to set. Delivery covers the whole Phoenix Valley and is quoted separately once you book.

Pickup and return at the counter, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Friday pickups return Monday morning.

The weekend rate

3 days for 1

Pick up Friday during counter hours, shoot Saturday and Sunday, return Monday morning. It bills as one rental day, which makes the weekend the best value on the shelf.

Every rule the checkout uses

The policies, in the counter's words.

Rental period, discounts, insurance, cancellation, the agreement and late returns. Nothing else applies that is not in the agreement you sign.

Rolling 24-hour rental days

A rental day runs 24 hours from pickup. Out Tuesday at 2pm means back Wednesday at 2pm. Pick up Friday and return Monday morning and you pay for one day.

Multi-day discounts, automatic

Rent four days or more and the fourth day is free. Rent a full week and you pay for five days. The discount applies itself at checkout.

  • 4+ days: the 4th day is free
  • 7 days: pay for 5
  • Weekend: Friday to Monday morning at the one-day rate

Insurance is required

Influence Rentals does not sell insurance, but every rental has to be covered. Send a certificate of insurance before pickup. If you do not have a policy, ask: the counter has good recommendations and short-term options are common.

Cancel up to 7 days out

Cancel seven or more days before pickup for a full refund. Inside seven days the reservation is non-refundable, because the shelf runs at full capacity and the gear was held for you.

One agreement, signed on your phone

Every rental is covered by a rental agreement you sign electronically before pickup. It records the gear, the dates and the condition, so a dispute is settled by the record rather than by memory.

Late returns

There is a one-hour grace window. After that, late returns are billed at the daily rate, because the next production is usually waiting on the same case.

Renting, pickup and returns

The questions the counter hears most.

Browse the catalog, pick your pickup and return dates, add gear to the quote and check out online. Availability is live, so anything you can add is on the shelf for those dates. You then sign the rental agreement on your phone, send proof of insurance, and either pick up at the Glendale counter or have the gear delivered.

No. Checkout takes your name, email and phone. After the first rental you can open the customer portal with a sign-in link sent to that email, no password, to see past rentals, extend a rental, pay a balance or rent the same kit again.

Popular items (the FX6, the 1200D Pro, the Vespid set) book out for weekends and for the fall commercial season. A week ahead is comfortable; the day before often works for smaller gear. Live availability shows you exactly what is free for your dates.

The counter is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Weekend rentals pick up Friday and return Monday morning. Delivery windows are agreed when the order is confirmed.

Yes, for pickup at the Glendale counter. Delivery covers the Phoenix Valley. If the gear is flying, ask the counter about flight-legal batteries and cases before you book.

7018 N 57th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, the same building as Influence Studios, a few minutes off the Loop 101 near Westgate. Free parking at the door.

Anywhere in the Phoenix Valley, from Buckeye to Apache Junction and Anthem to Casa Grande. The gear arrives prepped and is collected when you wrap. Delivery is quoted separately once you book.

There is a one-hour grace window. After that, late returns are billed at the daily rate, because the next production is usually waiting on the same case. If you know you are running long, extend the rental in the portal before the return time.

Yes, if the gear is not reserved for someone else. Extend from the customer portal or call the counter. Extensions are priced at the original day rates and the multi-day discount still applies.
